Fault simulator

Equipped with one fixed and one motorized plate (each 1m x 1m). The unique inclination of the fault plane can be adjusted between 10 and 90 degrees to simulate detachment, reverse faulting, normal faulting and slip faulting. Slip on the fault plane can be set between 0 and 90°. This experimental device can be adapted to perform 3D regular sandbox or geomorphic analog experiments (with a rain-fall system), and also erosion box experiments.
