(2024)
Time series of 2D simulations of a finite-difference model representing a large-scale bi-axial friction laboratory experiment. The forward simulations include the evolution of the strains, the velocity, and the state theta at the fault. The dataset includes the initial shear stress distributions of each ensemble member and the prior information used for the calculations of the information content in chapter 6 (Towards Estimating the Occurrence of Fault-slip in Large Scale Frictional Experiments and the Field Scale ) of the Ph.D. thesis "Ensemble data assimilation methods for estimating fault slip and future earthquake occurrences."
